Summative performance assessment associated with the ability to work co-operatively with peers, trainees and other health professionals to develop a shared picture of the clinical situation and facilitate appropriate task delegation, to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient surgical care. Also addresses processes for documenting and exchanging information, establishing a shared understanding, and playing an active role in clinical teams.
The instrument also includes a weighted scale for measuring the case difficulty level.
